Whoa, its been a long time!

So, it is now 2011 and the last blog was from 2009.The merger between the Pensacola Historical Society and West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc. is complete. It has been one year of merged organizations. Let's just say the blog was forgotten as the two organizations shifted into one. But, not any longer. A lot has happened since the last blog, but we will not dwell on that. Let's look to what is going to happen. Coming up on Friday, June 3, Spanish re-enactor Hector Diaz will present the FREE lecture, Spain, Pensacola and the American Revolution, at 6 p.m. in Old Christ Church in Historic Pensacola Village. This lawn supper is $12 per person and begins at 7:15 p.m. Reservations required for the supper by calling 850.595.5985 x 102 or emailing Wendi at wdavis4@uwf.edu. Saturday, June 4 is Historic Pensacola Village's annual Open House.
